Apply to all three if you are eligible; the preparation overlaps. Prioritise by your weak area: if English is weak, RRB Office Assistant suits you better; if you are balanced, IBPS Clerk is closer to SBI's pattern.
You do not need to pick one. Most clerk aspirants apply for SBI, IBPS and RRB in the same year. The question is where to put extra effort when the schedules overlap.

Choosing where to focus
- Weak in English: RRB Office Assistant is your strongest chance. Do not skip English for SBI and IBPS, but expect your best result in RRB.
- Balanced profile: SBI and IBPS have the same Prelims structure. Your Prelims practice serves both.
- Strong in GA and computer: SBI and RRB Mains both reward computer knowledge.
Managing overlapping dates
With exams spread from September to January, plan in blocks: SBI Mains first, then IBPS Mains, with Prelims-level speed practice kept alive for the RRB Prelims. GA preparation carries over across all three.
Eligibility differences to check
The age windows are not identical. In 2026, SBI Clerk asked for 20-28 years as on 01.04.2026, IBPS Clerk 20-28 as on 01.08.2026, and RRB Office Assistant 18-28 as on 01.09.2026, with relaxations for reserved categories. A candidate who is outside one window may still be inside another.
