You can take a free SBI Clerk mock test on Banker Anisha in five formats: full Prelims, full Mains, sectional, a 30-question mini mock and a custom test you build yourself. All follow the SBI pattern with section timers and −0.25 negative marking, and every one ends with section-wise results and solutions.
The five mock formats at a glance
| Mock | Questions | Time | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full Prelims | 100 (English 30, Numerical 35, Reasoning 35) | 60 min, 20 per section | Exam rehearsal for Phase I |
| Full Mains | 190 questions, 200 marks | 160 min, four timed sections | Exam rehearsal for Phase II |
| Sectional | One section of Prelims or Mains | That section's real time | Fixing one subject |
| Mini | 30 (10 per Prelims section) | 21 min, 7 per section | Busy days and early preparation |
| Custom | Your choice | Your choice | Drilling a set of topics together |
All of them are free. You need a free account so your attempts, scores and mistake book are saved.
Which mock to take at which stage
Taking full mocks too early is a common way to lose confidence without learning much. A sequence that works for most candidates:
- First two to three weeks: one mini mock a week. It shows you the format and keeps you honest about speed without needing a full hour.
- Once about half the syllabus is covered: two or three sectional mocks a week, rotating English, Quant and Reasoning.
- When most of the syllabus is covered: start full Prelims mocks, two or three a week, with sectionals in between.
- Last two weeks before Prelims: a full mock most days, at the same time of day as your exam shift if you know it.
- After Prelims: switch to Mains sectionals first, then full Mains mocks.
Our FAQ on when to start mocks explains this in more detail.
What happens inside a mock
The test screen is modelled on the real one. A question palette on the side shows which questions you have answered, skipped or marked for review. Each section has its own timer and closes on its own, just as in the exam, so you cannot borrow time from English for Reasoning.
Answers autosave as you go. If your connection drops or the tab closes, reopen the mock and continue. When you submit, the score is worked out with one-fourth of a question's marks deducted for each wrong answer.
The result page shows
- Score in each section and overall, with right, wrong and unattempted counts
- Time used in each section
- Your percentile among other learners on this site who took the same kind of mock
- A solutions view you can filter to show only wrong or unattempted questions
Will the same questions repeat
Each mock is assembled when you start it. The builder prefers questions you have not seen before, follows a topic mix based on the SBI pattern, and keeps puzzle and DI sets together rather than splitting them. For topics with generated questions, such as simplification, number series, inequality and syllogism, it can create new ones when needed.
That means two mocks of the same type will not be copies of each other. Over many mocks you may meet a written question again once you have worked through most of a topic's bank, but generated topics will keep giving new numbers.
What to do in the hour after a mock
The score matters less than what you do next. A simple review routine:
- Look at each section's time and accuracy. Was a low score caused by wrong answers or by running out of time?
- Open solutions filtered to wrong answers. For each one, write one line: concept gap, silly mistake or time pressure.
- Open unattempted questions. Could you have solved any of them in under a minute? Those are the cheapest marks to win back.
- Pick one topic that cost you the most and do 20 practice questions on it before the next mock.
What these mocks are not
These are practice tests built from our own question bank. They are not previous-year papers and they do not predict your actual result. Difficulty can feel different from the real exam on a given day, in either direction. Use them to build timing, attempt strategy and accuracy, and use the trend across several mocks, not a single score, to judge progress.
All mocks follow the SBI Clerk pattern. We do not offer separate IBPS, RRB or PO mock patterns.
Questions people ask
Is the SBI Clerk mock test really free?
Yes. Every mock type is free with no limit on attempts. You need a free account so results are saved.
Do I get solutions after the mock?
Yes. Every question has a step-by-step solution, and you can filter the solutions view to show only wrong or unattempted questions.
Is negative marking applied?
Yes. Each wrong answer loses one-fourth of that question's marks, as in the real SBI Clerk exam. Unanswered questions score zero.
How many mocks should I take before the exam?
There is no fixed number. What matters is reviewing each one properly. Our FAQ on how many mocks to take gives a practical range.
