How do I check my SBI Clerk Prelims result?

The Prelims result is published on the official SBI careers page under the advertisement for your cycle. It is not sent by post or SMS, so you must check the website.

Steps

1. Open sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings.
2. Scroll to the Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) advertisement for your year.
3. Click the Preliminary exam result link.
4. Enter your registration number or roll number and date of birth or password, and the captcha.
5. Your status (qualified or not qualified for Mains) and your marks appear. Save a screenshot or PDF.

What you see in the result

• Whether you are shortlisted for Mains. About 10 times the vacancies in each category are shortlisted, state-wise.
• Your marks. Remember that SBI Clerk has no sectional cut-off, so only your total matters for shortlisting.
• For the 2025 Prelims, SBI's "Marks Secured by the Candidate (Phase-I)" page asked only for roll number or registration number and date of birth. That page did not show state-wise cut-offs, so the cut-off figures you see online are usually compiled by education websites.

If you qualified

Watch for the Mains call letter, which is released about 10 days before the exam. Keep your stamped Prelims call letter, as you need it at Mains.

If you did not qualify

Look at your marks against the cut-off, note which section cost you the most, and keep preparing - there is no limit on attempts in SBI Clerk while you are within the age limit.
