For the 2026 regular recruitment (CRPD/CR/2026-27/17), Prelims was held on 26 and 27 September 2026 and the Main exam is tentatively in November 2026 as per the notification. Watch SBI's careers page for the confirmed Mains date.

Special drive for SC/ST/OBC backlog (CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16)
- Registration: 7 to 27 August 2026
- Prelims: held in September 2026; the Prelims result has been published
- Main exam: scheduled on 29 October 2026, as per SBI's careers page, with call letters and the Mains booklet available
What to do now
- If you wrote the regular Prelims, start full Mains preparation without waiting for the result. Mains has only a few weeks' gap in recent cycles.
- Focus on Financial Awareness (50 marks) and Computer Aptitude, which were not in Prelims.
- Keep your Prelims call letter, stamped at the venue, safely. You must bring it to Mains.
- Check the careers page every few days. The Prelims result and the Mains call letter are posted there, and call letters are released tentatively from about 10 days before the exam.
In the previous cycle, the Prelims result came on 4 November 2025 and Mains followed on 21 November 2025 - a gap of just over two weeks. A similar gap this year would leave very little time if you wait for the result to start.
The Mains date for the regular recruitment was tentative in the notification. Only the announcement and call letter on sbi.bank.in/web/careers are final. Dates reported by news sites can differ.
