Stop learning new topics. Take a mock every day at your exam slot, revise your mistake book and formula sheet, check your call letter and documents, and protect your sleep.
The last week is for sharpening, not learning. New topics this week usually cause confusion and steal time from revision.
Day-by-day plan
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| 7 to 3 days before | One full mock a day at the time of your exam slot. Analyse it. Revise the mistake book topic by topic. |
| 2 days before | Last full mock. Revise formulas, squares and cubes, grammar rules. For Mains, revise GA notes. |
| 1 day before | No full mock. Light sectional practice (20-30 questions), check documents, sleep early. |
| Exam day | Eat light, reach early, and follow your attempt order. |
Paperwork checklist
- Download the call letter from the SBI careers page and read every instruction on it.
- Keep the photo identity proof the call letter asks for, plus a photocopy.
- The 2026 notification asked candidates to bring two extra photographs (same as on the call letter) and said those without them would not be allowed to appear. Keep spare copies of the same photo for later stages too.
- Your Prelims call letter is stamped at the centre and must be kept; it is needed again at Mains.
- Calculators, phones and notes are not allowed. Rough sheets are provided and must be returned.
Mindset
One bad mock this week means nothing. Look at the average of your last five. If you have been scoring well, trust the routine you built.
From the SBI handout
The 2026 Prelims handout says late comers will not be allowed to take the test, so plan to reach well before the reporting time on your call letter. It also asks candidates to bring glue for pasting photos and a blue ink stamp pad for the thumb impression on attendance sheets. Visit or map your centre in advance if you can.
